Effective 18th May 2020, MAB Academy has resumes operation at their two premises located at Simulator Building, Subang & Kelana Jaya. MAB Academy has developed a standard operating procedure (SOP) for employees & customers coming for training after receiving permission and approval from CAAM to resume operations during the movement control order (MCO) period.
MAB Academy team went extra mile prior to their reopening by coming over together during the weekend to set up the health screening counter, marking of training areas which include Cabin Galley Area, Cart Area, Cabin Services Training Hall, Emergency Evacuation Training Area and Door Trainers to ensure social distancing and sanitizing common areas in the academy. The teamwork showcased by MAB Academy team is exemplary in ensuring all aspects of health and safety are given the utmost priority before resuming operation.
In embracing the new norm, students coming for training will need to abide by the regulations and SOP set by MAB Academy which include online QR Code registration upon arrival, temperature screening, sanitization, wearing of face masks and ensuring social distancing is being practised all the time. Trainings are conducted with minimal number of students not more than 10 people inside a classroom & not more than 4 people inside simulator.
MAB Academy believes they have an obligation to ensure continuous training of Malaysia Aviation Group employees. By setting the SOP and guidelines which serve as precautionary measures during this COVID-19 outbreak, they hope they will be able to strike the right balance between prioritizing safety of the trainers and trainees and ensuring compliance with regulatory training.
In the meantime, stay safe & the team wishes everyone a safe and meaningful learning experience at MAB Academy.
