MAB Academy Hosts HF Infoshare Session for Global Aviation Delegates

MAB Academy was honoured to play host to the (Human Factor) Infoshare event between 5 and 6 December 2018 recently. Officiated by Captain Nasarudin Abu Bakar, MABA Head of Training and Captain Adrin Jeyandren Hunt, the Manager of Boeing Flight Crew Training, this event was attended by 60 delegates from within the aviation industry.

The 2-day HF Infoshare event featured esteemed speakers  and insightful topics such as Captain Ryan Lim from Malaysia Airlines who shared  on 'Malaysia Airlines' EBT Journey & Lessons from it' and Dr. Patrizia Knabi from Emirates who touched on Flight Management Attitudes and making use of eye tracking in pilot training. Another interesting topic that was also discussed at the event was, 'Can we take the startle out of a pilot, or take the pilot out of startle' by Dr Sunjoo K. Advani of International Development of Technology, Netherlands.

HF Infoshare is an inter-airline informal regional Human Factors group which was formed in 2016. Singapore Airlines hosted the event for 02 years consecutively and MAB played host this year.

Themed 'Agility in Training – Adapting to Change' this year's HF Infoshare focuses on Evidence-Based Training (EBT) and its implementation. Future challenges in aviation was also discussed during the 2 day event. The main aim of this event is to create and foster a safer environment within the aviation industry. This yearly event also serves as a knowledge sharing platform between members.

This event hosted by MAB Academy received positive feedbacks from participants. MAB Academy team hopes this event will benefit everyone and forge greater relations between operators, especially in terms of human factors training.​
